All-Star Race May

So I worked all day, and again was not so hot with the camera, but then again, I was working, so taking pics of NASCAr and bank execs is not such a great idea- but here is one of Jeff Burton walking behind our "Champions Club" hospitlaity area

NASCAR Pit Crew Challenge

Nate and I enjoyed some nice seats- and enjoyed the action, my favorite was the jack guy, I decided I could try to do that if I was going to join a pit crew :0

The Course- 2 teams went at atime until it was down to the final 2

It wouldn't be Nascar if there wasn't crew announcements - this is Kasey Kahne's team

and pyrotecnics were also included, but I did not get any good shots of them

My new fave- the driver of the #83 car, Brian Vickers- he absolutely looks like he should be asking "who stole my lukcy charms" - so while my boy Elliott struggles, I will have two cars (sad, I know, on many fronts)

It is always the week before the All-Star Race- which is also one of the best races tow atch- it is like NASCAR lite

In honor of Nate's 30th B-day (a year ago)

Since we were not yet "bloggers" as of last year, I wanted to throw these in-they make me laugh-and I figured it is never a bad thing to throw ina s hout out to our frineds still in the military!

As part of Nate's birthday weekend a year ago we had a fun round of paintball in northern Illinois- it was blast (literally)

Akula - don't jump

Akula felt like he needed a little more presence on this site, so he threatened to jump- we managed to talk him down from the bed-

Nate (not my Nate) and Colleen Get Married May 12

Nate and Colleen got married in Tampa on May 12th. As usual, we do not have the best photos- so send them our way if you have more! But we still got some good ones.

Despite the crazy fires in Southern Ga that were depositing all of their smoke in Tampa (dangone wind patterns) the weekend was great- we had pretty much the entire ND group in

Friday night Colleen's family hosted us at their homes (first her parents' then her brother and sister-in-law's) on the beach in Clearwater- both were amazing!

We unfortunately did not get any photos of the wedding dance, but it was the most sensuous thing we have ever seen! They are obviously very much in love- it was wonderful!!
